Burning Instructions

Burn your candle for short periods of time
( 1 1/2 hours or less). Allow to cool.

NOTE: When your candle is first lit, burn for 10 minutes then extinguish and pour off the melted wax and repeat procedure. This is not necessary after the initial time. Water and glaze may have been trapped and not allow the candle to burn down properly without this procedure.

Continued use of the candle will form a well in which a clear plastic tea light can be inserted to protect the outside design, but the choice is yours.

• Never leave your candle burning unattended.
  
  
• Always put your candle on a protected surface.
  
  
• Always keep lit candle away from Children & Pets.
  
  
• Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each lighting.
  
  
• Keep out of drafts and direct sunlight.

If you would like your candle to last longer, you can insert an oil lamp or tea light into the top of the candle instead of burning the core candle. There are two methods to achieving this effect.

Purchase the desired tea-lights or oil lamp you would like to use in your Hand Carved Unity Candle.
Bridal Candles recommends a clear plastic tea-light to achieve the glowing effect thru the sides by your candle.
